DESCRIPTION

The Essex Model 3907 Loop Power Supply is designed to provide 24VDC loop power for electronic transmitters.  It is designed as a modular unit which plugs into a standard eight pin socket.  This facilitates easy replacement and/or trouble shooting by simply unplugging the unit.  An LED on the unit cover indicates the presence of 24VDC at the designated pins.  With it's 100 mADC output capability, it can power up to five (5) 4-20 mADC instrument loops.

The output is short circuit protected for momentary shorts.  However, a sustained short circuit may damage of burn-out the power supply.
